My Journey with Yoga

  • 2015 ➙ Finding Yoga

A sensitive soul through and through, I began struggling with depression at the beginning of high school. In pursuit of inner calm, I signed up for a yoga class at a local studio. During that 60 minutes, I connected with something deeper than myself for the first time. I cried, I laughed and I felt something ancient stir from within. Practicing regularly pulled me out of my pain and led me into a lighter, more liberated state. Yoga brought me back home to myself.

  • 2019 ➙ Inspiration & Devotion

In college, I had the privilege of being taught by some of the most inspirational, authentic and truly advanced yogis I have ever met. Two of which (Liz Crosby & Victoria Kromhout if you’re a central coast local) became a catalyst for my own devoted journey. I began practicing hours a day and gradually sought to embody not only the physical aspect of yoga, but the entire philosophical approach to life that it entails.

  • 2022 ➙ Danyasa 200 hr YTT

Eager to learn more, I researched YTT programs for months until I stumbled upon the Danyasa Feminine Mysteries Yoga & Embodied Movement Program. My whole body lit up- YES! I spent the next three months in Costa Rica studying, embodying and teaching yoga.

  • 2022 ➙ “Bliss Body” is born

Upon returning back to the central coast of California, I began teaching community classes to all levels of yogis. My main focus was to build community & offer a safe space for others to re-connect with their True Selves.

  • 2024- 2025 ➙ Yoga in NZ

While travelling through New Zealand, I started a women’s yoga collective and after settling in Waiheke, began teaching in a studio space again. What a magical chapter!

  • 2026 ➙ Offering Yoga/ Somatic Healing Spaces Online

While I intend to keep teaching in person, (currently between Washington & Hawaii) my main focus now is to offer yoga and somatic based practices to clients who wish to dive deep in my 1:1 container

Intentional Movement offers us the opportunity to unite body, breath, mind and spirit. We move beyond thinking and into flowing, out of doing and into being. Embodied movement has been my anchor for the past ten years and only continues to reveal more of its wisdom each time I show up to my mat.

For the past three years, I have had the pleasure of sharing my passion for movement as a yoga instructor. I also weave dance and intuitive movement into practice to allow for individual expression. My intention regardless of class style is that my students leave practice feeling more connected, calm, embodied and joyous!
