Musings on Women:

A portal of worlds swirls between our thighs-

divinity’s bridge.

Our womb provides the first home to every human,

humbly holding the bliss of new life

and the pain of premature death.

We are the masters of understanding the depth of duality

that hangs in each breath.

Fearless in the flames, we Rise-

for we’re familiar with the re-birth that follows.

& while we feel the weight of this world

down to the hallow

of our bones,

we remain steadfast in our vision

to be heaven’s hands and feet.

We vow to meet

dark with grace-

press our precious hearts onto

open palms

and pull ignorance

into the light.
